Mr. Madaraka Nyerere, is also Chairman of Culture and Development East Africa, and son of the late Mwalimu Julius Nyerere (former President of the United Republic of Tanzania). Mr. Madaraka is very passionate about carrying on his father's legacy which was deeply rooted in his commitment to development, emphasizing self-reliance, and the well-being of the most vulnerable. Through his active involvement in various community development initiatives, Madaraka has ensured that His Fathers vision for a just society where all individuals, regardless of background, can thrive, continues to inspire the world today. As Nyerere once said, "The task of development is the task of the people themselves." He stands by this belief in collective effort and self-reliance as we work together to build a healthier, more prosperous world.
